THE CHALLENGE

What we walked into

A working fire station cannot close. The apparatus bay floor takes 40,000-pound trucks, constant wash-downs, fuel and hydraulic drips, and it has to look like the public building it is - all with the station in service.

THE SYSTEM

What went down

1. Diamond grinding of the full bay to open the slab profile

2. Crack and joint repair rated for apparatus loads

3. Pigmented base coat with full-refusal flake broadcast

4. Polyaspartic top coat with traction grit matched to wet apparatus bays

THE RESULT

How it ended

Five thousand square feet returned to service in three days, trucks rolling on schedule. The finished bay cleans with a hose, hides tire marks between washes, and carries our lifetime workmanship warranty.
